Introduction to Syntax
This course is one of the foundational lectures in contemporary theoretical linguistics. It focuses particularly on the formal aspects of linguistic expressions, introducing theoretical tools necessary for analyzing the hierarchical structure of (words and) sentences. As outlined in the schedule below, the course offers a comprehensive treatment ranging from the internal structure of words to larger syntactic domains such as verb phrases, noun phrases, and full sentences.
